Terms & license

These terms cover the digital templates sold by Ready-to-Run Kits, a brand of Zambr Works (Ontario, Canada), on this website and on Etsy. By buying or downloading a kit, you agree to them.

What you're buying

Each kit is a set of digital files (Word .docx documents and/or Excel .xlsx workbooks, sometimes with a PDF guide). Nothing physical is shipped. On Etsy, Etsy delivers them as an instant download. Bought directly on this website, they're emailed to you as one zip file from support@zambrworks.com, to the email address you used at checkout, within 24 hours, usually sooner. A person sends each order, so it isn't instant. If they haven't arrived after 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact us. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD); a US-dollar figure next to a price is an estimate only. Our Etsy shop lists prices in CAD, and Etsy may convert them to your local currency at checkout. Checkout on this website charges in CAD. The amount and currency shown at checkout are what you're charged; if that isn't your card's currency, your bank converts it and may add a foreign transaction fee.

Where you buy and who sells it

  • On Etsy. Etsy purchases are made under Etsy's terms and policies, and Etsy handles payment, sales tax where it applies, and delivery of the download.
  • Directly on this website (when direct checkout is available). We email you the files after your payment goes through (see above). Direct purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe company, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for the order. That means:
    • your card or bank statement shows a charge from Link (it typically starts with LINK.COM*);
    • any sales tax, GST/HST or VAT is calculated at checkout;
    • you're charged in Canadian dollars, and the amount on the checkout page is what you pay;
    • your receipt and support for the payment itself (such as billing questions) come from Link;
    • refunds may be issued under Link's policies, including any cooling-off or withdrawal rights that the law where you live requires.

Either way, the license below applies to the files, and we're the people to contact about the files themselves.

Your license

When you buy a kit, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • use and edit the files in your own business, including your employees and staff;
  • add your name and logo, change the wording, and print as many copies as you need;
  • give completed forms, quotes, invoices, statements and handbooks to your own clients and families.

You may not:

  • resell, share, give away or publish the templates or workbooks, whether edited or not, as templates;
  • include them, or anything substantially copied from them, in a product, course, membership or bundle that you sell or distribute;
  • upload them to a template marketplace or file-sharing site.

Running more than one business? Buy one copy per business. Questions about other uses? Just ask.

Refunds

Bought directly on this website and changed your mind before we've emailed your files? Email support@zambrworks.com (or contact us) and we'll cancel the order and refund you in full, no questions asked. The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. If your request reaches us after the files have already been sent, the next paragraph applies.

Once the files have been sent, they can't be returned, so we don't offer refunds just for a change of mind. That said, if a file won't open, something doesn't work, or the kit isn't what you expected, contact us and we'll make it right, whether that means fixing the file, sending a replacement, or helping you get it working.

Etsy purchases are delivered as an instant download, so there's no before-sending window for them: the paragraph above and Etsy's own policies apply. This doesn't limit the refund policies of Etsy or Link (for direct purchases), or any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

Not legal, tax or professional advice

The templates, calculators and free tools are general information and practical starting points. They are not legal, tax, accounting, medical or licensing advice. Rules vary by state, province and city. You're responsible for checking that your forms, policies, prices and tax filings meet the rules that apply to you. Ask a qualified professional when in doubt. Tax figures (such as mileage and meal rates) are provided as editable values with their sources noted, so check them for your tax year.

No warranty and limit of liability

The files are provided "as is". We work hard to make them accurate and to test them, but we can't guarantee they're error-free or suited to your situation. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a kit is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Ownership

We keep the copyright in the templates. Your license lets you use them as described above. The content you type into them is yours.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions? Contact us.
